The Leagues Cup break without Atlanta United has seemed exceptionally long. The USWNT crashed out of the World Cup, Inter Miami and Messi are still on a tear, and everyone is waiting with bated breath as the Five Stripes prep their new players for MLS play on August 20th.

The Scarves and Spikes guys dove into all those topics and more on Wednesday evening on the live show. Rob Usry’s wonderful article about Atlanta’s new transfer DNA under Garth Lagerway was a hefty discussion early on before the chat moved to the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup.

The last few matches are upon us and predictions were doled out as to how this tournament finally ends. Tyler, Tommy, and Sydney also discussed the roster moves and how this team could look come the beginning of next season.
