'Beach towel cheats' among Treccani neologisms

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 21 - "Furbetti del telo" or "beach towelcheats" is among the neologisms OK'd by Italy's premier Italiandictionary Treccani this summer, a term describing people whoput their beach towels on sun loungers at the crack of dawn toensure they have a place there later in the day. "No-green" to describe climate crisis deniers, "grassopfobico"(fatphobic) and "talkaholism" are some of the other termsadmitted into the prestigious language guide this summer. "Sanchismo", describing the policies of Spanish Premier PedroSanchez, "upgrading" and "killerare" for various meanings of "tokill" are among the other new entries. (ANSA).
